Florida, Oddly Enough

Big things are happening, can you feel it? Inner adjustments and observations may be helping you become more you. Alignments are causing inner work and awareness to become deeply felt. Personally, I’ve been taking an account of my attitude, feelings, and motivations, around work and I’m considering retiring at the end of this school year. I can’t tell you how it relieves me. I feel finished with a work situation in which I find myself at odds with the system, with never enough time, with more demands each day, and with a constant sense that I’ll never catch up. I can substitute teach for extra income, but I feel ready, at 65 in March, to be free of this daily grind. I need to find more creative outlets to keep from feeling stagnant, and what I’m learning about myself is that I need varied outlets. Maybe I could start a small business. I’d like to look forward to each work day.  I also need time for the occasional good conversation and the company of people on my wavelength.  What we do without when we are caught in the net, and we suffer for it. I’m giddy at the possibilities. Hoping things are percolating along for you, as well.

On to photos from this past week.
Here are a few dioramas my students made for their favorite animal research project. I don’t think my parents ever helped with mine, and my favorites were the more simple, child made ones.

Rhino. I love this because no one helped at home. He was very proud. It’s 100% Jacob.

Another project done all by the student.
Now for pretty skies in golden sunset light. Florida never disappoints when it comes to sky.
