Narcissus. For someone that didn’t exist, a lot has happened in his name. A lot has happened including ART. In art, he looks variously as if he’s about to be sick in a fountain, fall into a pond, is drunk or is indeed already hungover.
To boil down the myth, Narcissus was a handsome hunter from Greek mythology that fell in love with his own reflection in a puddle. Today, he’s a disorder, a condition, he’s an insult & he’s even a daffodil.
& he’s so full of himself & caused so much trouble, I’m going to say no more about him & simply show you the pictures. It’s what he would’ve wanted anyway.
