Is it possible that a hurricane can cause an internal reset? I’m wondering… I’m giving up a lot of fear around my job. Going all in for fun. School systems say they want more student engagement, but they don’t really make it easy for teachers to accomplish. I’m remembering what I would have liked a typical day to be like in first grade, and I’m going to try to fill that bill. I’m experimenting with, *be you and see what happens.* 
And in other news, shots of post storm damage. Every day the clean up efforts continue, and the landscape changes. Salt water kills plants… and now there is so much brown where there used to be green. I did not realize this would happen. 
Also, we resisted the temptation to trash pick in ritzy Naples. People were throwing away gorgeous things, but the cops said, NO. They are trying to keep the area cleared for clean up crews.
